An additional 5 vehicles were made to the company fleet recently. Rob McNamara of Bridgend ford presented the keys to Iwan Davies in the photo above. The vehicles will be fitted with the latest fixed vehicle tracking technology and be released into the operating area to help serve our client base.
Dale have been awarded C-E’s first Green Card. The Green Card award is a quarterly recognition scheme for members of Carillions supply chain who go above and beyond the requirements of Health and Safety.
The Green card was awarded to Craig Ball and Tracy Marshall of Dale Building Maintenance Ltd for their good application and ethos while working at Dering Lines, Brecon. Craig and Tracy were both displaying excellent standards of health and safety when carrying out an entrenching task.
We are pleased to announce the award of a five year reactive repairs contract with United Housing Association who are based in the Bristol area. United Housing provide homes for black and minority ethnic tennants and were formed in 1986.

Congratulations goes to Ben Horton who recently gained a BSc in Building Maintenance & Management at UWIC in Cardiff. Ben joined the company back in 2007 as an insurance administrator after gaining his first degree in sports science, he quickly developed his skills and was offered an opportunity to enroll on a three year BSc course in Building Maintenance and Management sponsored by the company. What followed was three years of working at our Cardiff office for four days and one day and evening spent studying at UWIC. Ben now works as a surveyor/estimator at our office in Cardiff.
Jeff Price operations director has recently received Graduate member status for the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health.

In April 2009, Dales existing contract with Peacocks was extended until April 2011. Dale will deliver a building repair service to 4 regions in South Wales and the South West of England including Southampton, Portsmouth, Bristol, Devon / Cornwall.
In addition we have been awarded Secondary Contractor Status to East Anglia and Milton Keynes and therefore we can expect additional work from these areas.
